Community Groups

What are Community Groups?
Community Groups are groups of 10-12 people who meet together in homes across the city for food, fellowship, and the study of God’s Word. We currently have groups meeting throughout Hampton and Poquoson. The range of topics varying from, “How to study your bible”, “Building Strong Marriages”, to “Unpacking the Weekend Messages”. Each group meets for about one and a half hours.
What about Childcare?
Because we believe in the value of Community Groups, Freedom Life Church offers childcare reimbursement for families who choose to use it. You can use your children’s favorite babysitter to watch your kids while you attend your Community Group and Freedom Life Church will pick up the cost. We will cover $2.40 per hour, per child for a total of two hours. See your Community Group Leader for more information.
How long do Community Groups run?
Our Community Groups run for two semesters a year. There is a two month break in between semesters during the peak summer and holiday season to give our groups time to rest. First Semester runs from February to June and the Second Semester runs from August to December. Signups for these groups will begin one month prior to the starting week.
