Our Values
Relationships: We are committed to being a community that fosters the development of healthy, encouraging and meaningful relationships.
1 Thessalonians 2:8 We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”
Acceptance: We value every human being as someone who was made in the image of God. Therefore, we welcome everyone, just as they are. We will operate in patience and love as we encourage each individual to move from wherever they are to where God wants them to be.
James 2:1 “My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism.”
Authenticity: We value honesty and authenticity. Our leadership is committed to representing themselves in an honest and realistic way. What you see is what you get.
1 Corinthians 2:3-4 “I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power”
Relevant Spirituality: It is our mission to teach biblical principles in a way that offers practical application to our daily lives. We also strive to embrace the look and feel of our emerging culture in our worship style and expressions.
1 Corinthians 9:22 “…I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.”
Accountability: We feel that sharing our struggles and weaknesses with others who are committed to helping us is a key to victorious Christian life.
James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
Service: We believe that God has gifted every believer for ministry of some kind. We strive to empower people to serve in and create ministries that they are passionate about and are gifted by God to do.
1 Corinthians 12:12 “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.”
